Damola Odetola
Depression nests in her, like a bird in a tree. In search of sincere acceptance, her mind wanders. Pure and faithful her love is,harsh is the return. Is solitude the remedy,or is it continous trial?. Her trust is betrayed, her heart is accidented. Nostalgia buys her sleepless nights. Her sadness, hidden behind feigned happiness. All hopes dead, like sun dried leaves. Knights here are not lik fairytales. Let my heart see peace, she prays. Come to see the irony of life. Refuge she sought, her knight she found. The long awaited light, now she has in sight. Different in flesh, though he could be to her. Her eyes are color blind, seeing no color difference. But will he ever come to know what she feels?
