Nevermore
David
Forever means nothing when you've been living a lie,
and never means something burning into my own design,
for so long much suffering gave me the will to forget,
forever still nothing waiting as the time seems to tick.

Nevermore and never again,
all I can see is what I need,
and all I know is that you can't pretend,
nevermore for this needs to end,
all you could see wasn't enough,
to show you just how much you never cared.

For how long with nothing will you be able to live,
and how much more suffering burns into my image portrayed,
forever meant nothing all along now live on your own,
forever means something only in a beautiful world.
